Leybato offers a unique beauty nestled amongst the palm trees and right on the beach front, so catching the sunset from Leybato is one of the great fascinations of the place. You can sit, relax and watch the sun gradually sink gently into the Atlantic Ocean with a drink or two. At night, the guests can enjoy the sky lit up by billions of stars and the gentle sound of the smooth ocean. We are also open all year round.
As the hotel has expanded we have maintained the natural beauty of the surrounding vegetation. The guests often tell us that the garden is the distinguishing feature of the hotel and have called it our 'miniature botanical garden'. Our Garden boasts many assortments of plants including boabab, coconut, cashew, mangoes, casuarinas, acacia, rhun palm and many other beautiful trees and flowers.
The Gambia is famous for its sandy beaches a few steps directly outside the hotel is our clean beach which is perfect for sunbathing, jogging or a simple stroll with no risks. Leybato also sits next to a small pinnacle with a small rocky outcrop ideal for fishing or enjoying the sights and sounds of waves crashing against rocks.
