Over the yearsLeybato have added two other Leybato sister sites, one  beautiful beach side restaurant in Sanyang and a Nature Camp in the coastal fishing village of Sanyang. Both places are 30 kilometers from the city, so its a great chance to see and experience a rural and nature filled Gambia.  

 

The camp has rooms in the same style as Leybato Hotel with a restaurant and built in a traditional style with modern facillities also wildlife can be seen close by such as monkeys and some of the most beautiful birds of The Gambia.  A short walk also takes you to the fishing village where you can watch the boats bringing in fresh fish and a great chance to chat to the local fishermen.

Leybato Sunrise is our Bar and Restaurant situated directly on the beach, providing  Gambian and International cuisine along with cold drinks, hammocks on the beach and shaded eating areas. Sunlounges are also available and we are open to guests of our Nature Camp and non guests and we cater for parties, groups and picnics.
